Some on-line lists of burials in Military Cemeteries do not indicate which war, if any, the Soldier served in. For that
reason it was impossible to designate some burials to a page for a particular War so it was decided to list all such
interments by name. Some on-line lists on the Internet are marked "incomplete". When people were listed without
any military service they may have been dependants and in the case of infants undoubtedly were. If such people
occupied the same plot as a soldier they are listed after his name.

Some famous cemeteries are far from complete, perhaps because the volume of burials. Those include Arlington,
Andersonville and Gettysburg, to name only three. A number of lists did not contain any Garr*sons but some of them
are marked incomplete. There are likely a number of Confederate-only cemeteries that have not been checked.

Most of these listings came from interment.net, a source that contains a number of errors which I caught and
perhaps many which I could not. That site is dependant on volunteers to copy and share the burials.

Be sure to verify all names and dates you find of interest in these pages!

Remember that the original marker could have been wrong, it could have been copied wrong, it could have been
keyed in wrong, and this Webmaster could have read and keyed in the information wrong.

A few cemeteries are not national but are maintained by state governments or private agencies.
