Ebenezer Garrason, (Revolutionary Soldier) b by 1750 (bought land in Duplin Co 1770) perhaps in Carteret Co, NC, d by Jul 1801 Duplin Co; m Nancy _____ (thought by some to have been a Williams) who was still liv 1825 when she & dau Nancy joined Muddy Crk Bp Ch. Some have claimed without proof to satisfy this writer (CCGarrason) that Ebenezer was a son of a James Garretson who supposedly moved from Delaware (where he m _____ Hussey) to Carteret Co, NC. There was a James Garrison who bought land in Carteret in 1762 but there is nothing yet known to identify him as father of Ebenezer and his brother Jedediah Garrison (which see).

It has been suggested that Rebecca (below) reared as her youngest sister was actually her dau but there is no proof and some desc of Rebecca deny the possibility.
			2. Ebenezer Benajah Garrason, b 1831 GA, d1908 Covington Co, AL; m Elizabeth Johnson. There is some question about their last 3 ch. Ten yrs separated each and while that was possible it was unusual. -CCG This family continued the spelling Garrason.
